I'm actually quite impressed with this tactic... I'm not terribly involved in politics, but I'm guessing that Ron Paul is too liberal to get most Republicans to vote for him? Suggesting for a more liberal audience to change their registration just so they can vote for him in the primary is rather genius.
jade:in truth, he's too conservative for what the GOP has become. many, like myself, have left the party in disgust with it's big govt ideas, and there are lots of libertarian types (who can tend to favor democrats on issues like medical marijuana and war) who would be attracted to his candidacy.
