It's Over, Now Get Over It
Brett Favre says he wants to return to football
As much as I respect him, I think he's showing bad form now. He's already, finally, left the stage and now it's time to let Aaron Rodgers have his day.
Not to take anything away from him, as his accomplishments will forever be talked about, but he risks losing all that goodwill he left behind with his continued 'will he or won't he' year after year.
Brett, you're retired.
Stay that way.
And stop whining.
(With insincere apologies to my way-too-numerous cheesehead readers, this was the best picture I could find.)

I agree with you. And no problem with the picture, Gino. Two reasons: first because it shows, as usual, it shows the Bears committing a penalty (in this case a face mask). And I also happen to remember that game, because the Bears came out in all navy blue for the first time. That game was when the Packers played the Bears in Champaign on a Monday night in 2002 when Soldier Field was under construction. Brett won that night 34-21.

*Sigh* I don't like Favre enough to want to see him back and I don't dislike him enough to want to see the old coot get the snot beat out of him at his age. Oh well.
Oh, and maybe you're die-hard Packers readers would like this image better:

SA,
That is a deeply useful image. Disturbing, too.
I'm with you, Gino; the man's got a Super Bowl ring and two good knees. Enjoy the wife & kids while you still can, Brett.
You know his name is pronounced such as to rhyme with "starve"?
actually, its french, and rhymes more with 'faber'.
NOW who's pedantic?
He's not coming back, unless Rodgers is hurt mid-season. :D
Mark, I am in awe of you right now.
If he does come back I doubt it will be in Green Bay. I keep hearing Atlanta!
atlanta? hah! that'll be the hottest ticket in greenbay when the two teams meet.
