I love grits, but you CANNOT use reuse them as anything but paper mache paste.
i found that out...
only discovered them bout 15yrs ago.
wish they served them in CA.
HAH!! My parents were from the south and we grew up on grits. They're great with runny yolks all mixed in. My husband had never heard of them until we met. I don't think I've ever fed them to my own children. Hmm.
OOH! I should try them like that, Stacy. I've always been a picante sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper and butter girl.
one thing about grits: they arent very tasty on their own, but they really bring out the flavor of other foods.
