One simple grenade down a spider-hole. How much does a grenade cost? How many lives would have been saved had it just ended that afternoon? It just doesn't pay to bring these type of people to justice. They should have just followed the Scott Evil philosophy--get a gun, and bam, problem solved. Due process is great when you're dealing with rational people in a civilized society; it doesn't work with these yahoos.
Funny picture, thanks. I think I made that face watching Mariah Carey "perform" last New Year's Eve.
He needs to get off his horse. We may have bungled our illegal invasion and occupation of his country under spurious allegations, but that doesn't change the fact that he gassed entire towns and tortured people.
I still think he should not be executed, because that just makes him a Sunni martyr. His trial was a farce and shouldn't have been in Iraq anyway, he should have been tried at the International Criminal Court. Of course, Bush doesn't support the ICC and won't allow the US to ratify its creation, because then he'd probably find himself in jail, too.

And now,it seems, all Iraq really needs is a strongman in power to keep the lid on that bottle.

ICC = surrender of national sovereignty = really bad idea. This holds true whatever you might think of any particular president.
